Bring this cheat sheet with you to Thai restaurants and hopefully they'll make food as intended for Thais and not for foreigners:

    Too cool...the last place we lived had an authentic Thai place, the owner's parents were both Thai but now the little po-dunk town we are in they have a Thai place that is nothing but Chinese food with peanut sauce.

      yeah it's so annoying when chinese or other, try to be slick and present crap as Thai food .....ughhhhh .... there should be regulations preventing this kind of sheisterism of ethnic food .....
